Here’s who we are and what we do
The Student Services team plays a crucial role in supporting Girton students throughout their academic journey, from admission to graduation. In addition, the Admissions team fosters outreach and engagement with schools, ensuring all prospective applicants have access to opportunities, masterclasses, taster days and the information they need to make an informed decision about applying to Cambridge University.
Vicky Argent, Head of Student Services
Vicky oversees the Student Services department for Undergraduate and Postgraduate study, as well as dealing with complex queries and EAMC applications.

Emma manages all aspects of Undergraduate applications and admissions.

Paula Dennis, Tutorial Officer
Paula oversees Undergraduate matriculation, inductions and General Admission. She also has responsibility for the Undergraduate tutorial files, College exams, as well as Disability Support and Student Support documents.

Wendy Klein, Postgraduate Administrator
Wendy manages a Postgraduate's journey from application up to graduation.

Paula Harper, Administrative Assistant
Paula provides administrative support for Postgraduate applications, matriculation and inductions, transcripts, tutorial files and graduation ceremonies.

Lauren Court, School Liaison & Outreach Officer
Lauren is responsible for outreach and widening participation, including school visits, taster days, and roadshows, as well as organising Open Days and supporting undergraduate admissions.

Nicky provides finance support, including College Grants and Awards, University of Cambridge Grants and Awards, budgeting advice and College arrears.

Anita Cullum, Student Programmes Administrator
Anita provides administrator support for the Girton Skills Programme, including internships, as well as supporting the Freshers' induction and webinars.

Working closely with the Student Services team are the Tutors.
All undergraduates and postgraduates are allocated a personal Tutor who can be consulted on any problem which is not strictly subject-related. In cases of personal, financial or more general academic problems, they can offer help or advice, and the earlier you consult them on such matters, the better.
