Girton College is delighted to announce the election of alumnus, benefactor, and Campaign Board Co-Chair Dominic Slade (1990 Social and Political Sciences, 1994 International Relations) to a Bodichon Foundation Fellowship. Dominic’s exceptional philanthropy, leadership, and commitment to Girton’s future were honoured in a special ceremony in College led by the Mistress, Dr Elisabeth Kendall.
Bodichon Foundation Fellowships are bestowed upon major benefactors whose commitment has made an outstanding contribution to Girton’s vision. Dominic’s support reflects not only exceptional generosity, but also the thoughtful counsel, sound judgement and strategic insight he has brought to the College at a pivotal moment in its development.
His relationship with Girton is rooted in a deep connection to Cambridge and a strong belief in the power of educational institutions to create opportunity. As Co-Chair of the Campaign Board, Dominic has played a central role in helping Girton shape and advance an ambitious vision for the future while remaining true to its founding values. His leadership has strengthened the College’s ability to plan with confidence, champion excellence and inclusion, and build for the long term.
