Swirles Court

Arriving by Bicycle:

You can plan your journey to and from Swirles Court using Cycle Streets.

Arriving by Car:

It is located in Eddington between Turing Way and Pheasant Drive. From Huntingdon Road, turn onto Eddington Avenue and go past the University of Cambridge Primary School, then take the right fork onto Turing Way. To drive to the Porters’ Lodge, follow the road around to the bottom turning left underneath Swirles Court and then turn left onto Pheasants Drive.

Cambridge is a busy city. Attempting to drive through the city centre can be very time consuming. Traffic is often heavy, parts of the centre are pedestrianised, and the one-way system takes some getting used to.

Arriving by Bus:

The Universal Bus service

You can travel directly to/from Eddington and the Cambridge Railway Station. This service will drop passengers on Eddington Avenue outside Sainsburys. 

Tickets can be purchased for £2 (£1 with a University ID card) to Eddington.

Bus tickets must be bought from the bus driver and only cash is currently accepted. Pushchairs and fold up bikes only can be taken on the bus.

Regular Stagecoach Citi buses 

Citi 1, 3, 7 or 8 to the city centre and then the Citi 5 or 6 to Huntingdon Road (change at the bus station). These services run regularly, some depart every 10 minutes.

Bus tickets must be bought from the bus driver and only cash is currently accepted. Pushchairs and fold up bikes only can be taken on the bus.

Arriving by Taxi:

There are taxi ranks at the railway station and in the city centre.

Arriving by Air:

Stansted is the closest airport. Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton airports are within two hours drive.
