Antonia Vogt, Girton PhD candidate, has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece honouree for her work in the innovative field of regenerative medicine for cancer research.
Antonia's research is centered on using stem cells for cartilage regeneration. Specifically, she is leveraging bioinformatics to determine the most suitable type of tissue for cartilage repair based on the patient’s age and gender, which could personalise treatments and improve outcomes. Read more.

Sophia Belser, Girton PhD candidate and co-founder of Laelaps AI, has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Manufacturing and Industry honouree. Laelaps AI is developing fully autonomous robotic security agents, designed to patrol residential perimeters, gated communities and industrial sites. Read more.
Charlotte Howdle
Charlotte Howdle, a Year 6 medical student at Girton, has been awarded the prestigious Sir John Brotherston Prize, a Faculty of Public Health student prize for public health medicine. Her project was titled "Evaluation of lifestyle conversations in a pre-assessment clinic and optimisation using ‘Making Every Contact Count'".
