Governance and Prizes Coordinator

Full Time, 35 hours per week

USSS Points – 32 – 37 (£29,588 - £33,951 FTE - Depending on skills and experience)

We are seeking a Governance and Prizes Coordinator to join our team in the College Office.

The Governance and Prizes Coordinator will coordinate and provide all-round administrative support to the annual College Competition Prizes process. They will support the Head of Governance in relation to planning and organisation of meetings and associated administration, as well as provide general administrative support to the Mistress’s Office during a period of increased workload and under the direction of the Head of the College Office. This is a varied role spanning prizes administration, governance support, and stakeholder engagement across the College.

We are seeking an experienced administrator with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support in a busy office environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will ideally have experience supporting board or governance administration, will possess strong database management skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Teams and SharePoint. 

Highly organised and detail-oriented, they will be able to prioritise competing deadlines, work calmly under pressure, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. A proactive and professional approach is essential, as are excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
