Visiting the College
Open days
The next University-wide Open Days are:
- Thursday 9 July 2026: Undergraduate Open Day (Subject Departments, Colleges and support services will be open)
- Friday 10 July 2026: Undergraduate Open Day (Subject Departments, Colleges and support services will be open)
- Friday 11 September 2026: Colleges Open Day (Colleges and some support services will be open. Subject Departments will not be open)
We are happy to welcome school groups to our Open Days. In order to capture all the information we need, and so that everyone receives appropriate preparatory information and a ticket ahead of the event, both the teachers and each student in your group must make individual bookings via our website. Once a booking has been made, separate reservations to visit Colleges are not normally required.
The Open Day is not suitable for a very large groups and so we ask that you only bring Year 12 and 13 students thinking of applying to Cambridge. Our Open Day events are very popular and we restrict numbers to ensure all prospective applicants have the opportunity to visit and to protect the health and safety of our visitors. If you would like to arrange a visit for a larger group or an aspiration-raising visit at an alternative time of year, we recommend contacting your Area Link College in the first instance.
The Student Admissions and Access Team are able to advise on coach and minibus parking as well as support with other Open Day related enquiries. You can get in touch with them on caoevents@admin.cam.ac.uk.
