Join us for a discussion with International Lawyers Project, an international NGO providing pro bono legal support to civil society, communities and governments to advance economic and environmental justice and the rule of law globally. The session will explore how the law can be used to protect people and the planet, strengthen accountability and transparency, and support communities facing environmental challenges on the ground.
Maria Cristina Mundin supports Indigenous communities, civil society and governments to advance environmental justice through advocacy, litigation and legal advice. Prior to joining ILP, she combined public sector and academia experiences with a focus on energy and environmental issues.
Gabriel Šípoš works at the intersection of anti-corruption, the rule of law and the environment. Prior to ILP, he led global initiatives to embed anti-corruption strategies into efforts combating wildlife trafficking across Africa, Asia, and Latin America as the Anti-Corruption Coordinator at TRAFFIC.
