Girton College
During the summer vacation Girton College can provide a wide range of accommodation opportunities for private guests, families and conference delegates. We offer attractive weekly packages and are happy to sell weekend and midweek short stays, with our best availability in September.
From our well-appointed standard single bedrooms, our large double and twin en-suites through to our single en-suites in our award-winning new Wing, the new Ash Court development, we’re confident that we have the rooms to suit all budgets and events.
Swirles Court
You can also stay all summer at Swirles court, our post graduate building in the stunning new University community at Eddington.
All rooms are single ensuite, arranged in attractive cluster flats, each with a large self catering kitchen diner. Swirles has its own Porters’ lodge, and has excellent communication links to West Cambridge and the city centre via the Ubus.
At Eddington you will find a market square, a lively community centre with a wide ranging arts, music, sport and theatre programme, and 50 hectares of wildlife-friendly open green spaces including the Brook leys lakes. Visitors to Swirles are welcome to walk up the Ridgeway path to Girton (about 20 minutes) to take advantage of all the main site facilities, including the pool, gardens, hub and cafeteria. Best of both worlds!
Subject to availability, you can book a whole flat for a break in Cambridge with friends or family, or that alumni reunion you’ve been promising yourself since you graduated.
