I am an Affiliate Investigator in the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science, applying multi-modal single-cell ‘omics’ techniques to human tissue samples. My research focuses on elucidating the human neurocircuitry regulating body weight and I lead the “normal hypothalamic atlas project” in collaboration with MRC Brain Bank network and Professor Giles Yeo.

Responsibilities

I teach undergraduate medics and vets, and clinical medical students about the wonderful world of pathology. I am the Director of Studies at Girton for the second year medics.
