College role and responsibilities

As College Chaplain I oversee the life of the College Chapel, and am part of the welfare structure for students, staff and Fellows.

Research themes

My PhD brough Hans Frei and Dietrich Bonhoeffer into constructive and critical conversation towards a theology of the transcendence of Jesus. I am also interested in and speak on theology and the arts, especially jazz. 

Other

Also work as a professional jazz performer (saxophone and piano), composer and jazz educator. In addition to freelance playing, writing and teaching, I work with the University Centre for Music Performance and am often involved with Girton’s music, especially jazz.
