Mathematics

Research Themes

My research is in the area of Group Theory, particularly algebraic groups and their finite analogues. A long-standing collaboration with Professor D.M. Testerman has resulted in two Memoirs published by the American Mathematical Society.

Responsibilities

My teaching consists of giving supervisions in various Pure Mathematics courses, to Girtonians in the first and second year, and to a wider range of students in the third year.
