Research Themes

My areas of interest and expertise are in language teaching methodology, the interaction of language and culture in language teaching, translation studies, Italian current affairs (especially politics), and the organisation, language development and assessment of the Year Abroad.

Responsibilities

I am Associate Professor in Italian at the Department of Italian, Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics (MMLL).

Other

I received my BA in Modern Languages from the University of Pisa, and a MA in Language Studies (specialising in Translation Studies) from the University of Lancaster.
