The dinner is open to all continuing undergraduate students; tickets will be sold on a first come, first served, basis.
The evening begins at 7.00 pm with a drinks reception in the Stanley Library, and is followed by a 3-course dinner, with wine (including non-alcoholic wine), in the Hall at 7.45 pm. We conclude with tea/coffee and conversation in the Stanley Library. The dress code is lounge suits/smart. Gowns are not worn.
During the evening two alumni guest speakers will provide a perspective on that important transition from undergraduate days to ‘Life After Girton’. This year we are delighted to welcome Mr Charlie Siem (read Music, 2005) a Classical Violinist who has appeared with many of the world’s finest orchestras and chamber ensemble, including the Bergen Philharmonic, Camerata Salzburg, Czech National Symphony, plus many more, and Dr Suzy Lishman CBE (read Medical Sciences, 1986) a Consultant at Peterborough City Hospital and former President of Royal College of Pathologists.
