All Alumni are invited to the Annual Lawrence Room Talk in Old Kitchens by Dr Tim Pestell (1987, ASNAC) Curator of Archaeology at Norwich Castle Museum. Dr Pestell will be talking about ‘New Evidence for the Viking Age in East Anglia’.

Dr Pestell is an Associate of the Institute of Field Archaeologists, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and a Member of the DCMS Treasure Valuation Committee. He is also a Trustee of Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society.

After gaining his MA in 1994 and PhD (East Anglia) in 2000, Dr Pestell became Site Supervisor at Snape Historical Trust and was also a lecturer at the University of East Anglia. He established his own Consultancy as an archaeologist and is currently Curator of Archaeology at Norwich Castle Museum.
