Girton College events have been postponed until the end of June 2020 and the College is not currently 
open to visitors.  We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and are following the University 
of Cambridge and government advice as laid out by Public Health England.

CUACS Alumni and Students Dinner

This event has been organised by the CU African Caribbean Society’s first and outgoing Caribbean Officer – Aizraelle Clark Headley, in collaboration with Girton College, with sponsorship from Girton College JCR, CUACS and the Cambridge Admissions Office Widening Participation Team.

The Inaugural Caribbean Alumni & Students Event celebrates the rich history and unique legacies of students of Caribbean heritage at the University of Cambridge and additionally furthers the discussion about future progression.

CUACS warmly invite alumni to share their stories before, during and beyond Cambridge with current students, as well as reconnecting with each other. We invite all students of Caribbean and African heritage to learn from their predecessors and celebrate our culture.

The event will start with an hour-long drinks reception amidst an exhibition of notable Caribbean alumni. Pieces for the exhibition are being curated by the CUACS Caribbean Officer in collaboration with the Girton College Archives.

There will be a three-course meal inspired by Caribbean cuisine with the menu released closer to the date. Following the dinner, guests are encouraged to continue networking in the college’s Social Hub.
