Kitchen Stock & Hygiene Supervisor

Job Description

Supporting the Executive Head Chef, the post-holder will coordinate the cleaning and hygiene operation in the Catering Department, which includes supervising the small team of Kitchen Porters to ensure consistently high standards of daily service.

This new role requires an organised person to take responsibility of the stock deliveries for the Catering Department at Girton College. This includes receiving and sorting goods in compliance with food safety standards.

Usually the hours of work will be during the day, but the successful candidate must be flexible to cover various departmental demands. Some evening and weekend work will be required because of this.
