A Level Results Day - FAQs

A Level Results are published on Thursday 18 August 2022.

We appreciate that this is a very uncertain time, and our Admissions Team are working hard to respond to all offer holders as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the information below may answer some questions.

Congratulations - you don't need to do anything else at the moment.

We will be in touch with you again in the next few days.

If your school is making an appeal for your grades, please make sure you have informed us of this via email (admissions@girton.cam.ac.uk) and include your name, UCAS Personal ID and the course you are holding an offer for.

Please then keep us updated as the appeals process continues.

If you have received your results and have not yet received an email from Girton and do not have a decision on UCAS Track, you will have been placed in the Summer Pool.

You will be informed of your decision by the end of Thursday 18 August at the latest.

Adjustment is an optional UCAS service for students who meet and exceed the conditions of their firm choice. It gives them an opportunity to reconsider where and what to study, without losing their secured place.

Please go to the University of Cambridge website for more information.

Further questions

If you have any further questions, please email admissions@girton.cam.ac.uk.

Please do not call to check we have received your email, as this will slow down our responses to emails - we are working through them as quickly as possible.

Best wishes,

Admissions Team, Student Services, Girton College
