Girton Alumna to be made Women in Science Laureate
Girton Alumna Professor Pratibha Gai has been announced as one of five L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science Laureate. Professor Gai, currently at the University of York, is to receive the honour for her work using electron microscopy to observe chemical reactions in catalysts. She is the fourth Girtonian to be honoured in this way, joining Professor Frances Ashcroft, Professor Dame Athene Donald and Dr Philippa Marrack.
