Library Assistant

Girton College Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to join our team providing a comprehensive library service to members of this large and lively College.

In addition to being responsible for the supervision of the Library’s borrowing desk, duties include answering general enquiries, processing books, shelving, and helping with informal outreach (such as the Library’s social media presence). Excellent interpersonal skills, consistency and accuracy, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently are all necessary.

The successful applicant is required to work in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
