Risa Domb MA, PhD - 16 March 1937 - 11 January 2007
Risa Domb was a University Lecturer in Modern Hebrew at the University of Cambridge from 1984–2004 and Life Fellow of Girton College from 2004–2007.
Risa came to Girton College as the Grace Violet Cohen Bye-Fellow in Hebrew in 1989 and in 1995 she became the Grace Violet Cohen Official Fellow in Hebrew. From 1999, Risa was made a Supernumerary Fellow at Girton College until 2004 when she became a Life Fellow. During her time at Girton, Risa also held the posts of Director of Studies in Oriental Studies and Tutor.
