Visiting Girton

We are aware that not everyone who is interested in applying to Girton College is able to attend one of our Open Days.  Therefore we have designated a few afternoons during which an Admissions Tutor will be available to speak to you and tours of the College will be available. These afternoons will include refreshments, a discussion with the Admissions Tutor and a tour of College. The sessions will last approximately an hour and half in total. If you would like to book a place on one of these afternoons, or you wish to enquire about making an alternative appointment please contact the Schools Liaison Assistant.

Thursday 26th April 2pm
Thursday 31st May 2pm
Friday 22nd June 2pm
Thursday 23rd August 2pm

During September and the start of October we will be happy to arrange visits on an individual basis for those who are unable to attend our Open Day on Saturday 15th September, to meet with an Admissions Tutor and have a tour of College.

Students in Yr 11 who are in the process of choosing AS-Level subjects and are considering applying to the University are also very welcome to make an appointment to visit the College. Please note that our Open Days are only open to those in Yr 12 and Yr 13.

Visitors are very welcome to come and look round the College without an appointment, at any time between the hours of 9am and 5pm. The College is closed to visitors during December and the exam period in May and the start of June.

Visitors are asked to report to the Porters' Lodge on arrival, where College maps and prospectuses are available. Details on how to get to the College, including our Visitors' Car Park, can be found on the How to get to Girton College page.

If you would like to bring a school group to visit the College separate arrangements can be made. Please see our Schools Liaison section for details on how to do this and what we can offer.
