Wolfson Court

Walkway next to courtyard Wolfson Court, our modern annexe in Clarkson Road, is conveniently situated between Girton and the town centre, which is about five or ten minutes walk away through St John’s College. From Wolfson Court it is an easy walk to the University Library and the Sidgwick Site, where most arts lectures are held, and only a short cycle ride to the Downing Site and the West Cambridge Site for the scientists. The newly built Centre for Mathematical Sciences is next door. Wolfson Court’s facilities are available to all members of the College and are widely used at all times.

Wolfson Court was originally built to accommodate just over 100 students. A new block housing 32 graduates has recently been completed. Unlike the hostels which many other colleges have, the buildings also include a very popular cafeteria, a library and study area, the College Law Library, a computer room, a TV room, a small but well-stocked bar, a newspaper lounge, a laundry, supervision rooms, party rooms and food and drinks machines. The series of courtyards provide attractive spots to work, eat or relax in when the weather is good.
