Undergraduate Open Days
If you are a sixth form student thinking of applying to Cambridge, our Open Days will give you the opportunity to meet current students and Directors of Studies and find out the answers to all those burning questions: What is it like studying at Cambridge? What are the interviews like and what are they looking for? Is this the course I want to study? Could Girton be the right College for me?
You will also have the chance to see real student rooms and meet current students.
Teachers and accompanying parents and supporters are very welcome at these events.
If you would like to attend one of these days, please complete and return the appropriate booking form, which can be found on this page or by requesting one from the Tutorial and Admissions Office. There is a limit to the numbers which can be accepted for Open Days and early application is advised. Telephone or email bookings cannot be accepted.

This Open Day is run in conjunction with the Mathematics Faculty Open Day. The College programme will be held in the morning at Wolfson Court, Girton College's annex. The afternoon programme will begin at 2.30pm and will be held in Lady Mitchell Hall, a short walking distance from Wolfson Court. The College programme will include:
- Presentation from the Admissions Tutor on applying to Cambridge
- Tour of the Mathematics Faculty (just next door to Wolfson Court)
- Talk and Q & A session with Directors of Studies and current undergraduates in Mathematics
- Lunch (free of charge to students)
Some parking is available at Wolfson Court, and there will be a walking party between Wolfson Court and Lady Mitchell Hall.

This Open Afternoon will run from 1.30pm until 4pm. Refreshments will be available from 1pm. The programme will include:
- Presentations by the Admissions Tutor and current undergraduates
- Guided tours of the College with current undergraduates
- Informal meetings with Directors of Studies
- Presentation for Parents and Supporters/Teachers by the Admissions Tutor, including a question and answer session

University Open Days Thursday 5th and Friday 6th July 2012
For those who have booked to attend the University Open Days the College will also be open for informal visits on both dates. The College will be open from 9am - 11.30am and 3.30pm - 5.30pm on both days; the Admissions Tutor will give a talk on applying to Cambridge at 9.45am each day and will hold a Q & A session at 4pm each day. Current undergraduates will be available to give guided tours of the College, including student rooms, and Admissions staff will be available to answer questions.
There is no need to book with Girton to visit us, so why not drop in for a tour and refreshments on your way into or out of Cambridge. Parking is available at the College for those who wish to have a look round and then take the bus into the city centre.
