Cambridge Student Information System (CamSIS)

General information

CamSIS is a University-wide web-based Student Records System that encompasses much of the student administration in College.

Access to CamSIS

Access to CamSIS is limited to those involved in student administration in College, Tutors and Directors of Studies.  Access is also provided to students via 'Self-Service' and enables students to monitor their own progress and update personal details.  All users of the system are validated through the University’s web-based authentication system Raven.

Raven accounts are created on arrival to Cambridge. New students, and Fellows will automatically receive their Raven password when collecting their Hermes and PWF passwords at the beginning of the Michaelmas Term.

Please note, the College Computer Office is unable to reissue Raven passwords and you will need to contact the University Computing Service if you forget it!

Training

The CamSIS team have produced various training media for users of CamSIS.  The College does not offer training, but the following guidance may be useful to new users.

If you do have any questions or problems, please contact camsis@girton.cam.ac.uk.
