A renowned tenor, Nicholas Mulroy read Modern Languages at Clare College Cambridge before studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He joined Girton as Director of Chapel Music in October 2011.
Mr. Mulroy is much in demand professionally, with wide experience across concert, recital and operatic repertoire. Recent highlights include the role of Evangelist in Bach's Christmas Oratorio directed by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, a Glyndebourne debut in Prokofiev’s Betrothal in a Monastery, and a recital of Janáček’s Diary of one who Vanished at the Oxford Lieder Festival. Recordings include a Gramophone Award-winning Messiah and Acis in Acis and Galatea (John Butt/Dunedin Consort/Linn), Monteverdi Vespers 1610 (King/King’s Consort/Hyperion), a disc of Michael Finissy (Weeks/Exaudi/NMC), a series of Monteverdi (I Fagiolini/Chandos), as well as a critically acclaimed Evangelist in Matthäus-Passion (also Linn).
The main responsibilities of the Director of Chapel Music are to direct the prize-winning College choir, lead its regular tours, and to supervise the vocal training of its members. Mr. Mulroy is also Assistant Director of College Music.

Anthony Fort is currently studying music at Girton having spent a gap year studying the organ at the Royal Academy of Music with David Titterington. Prior to this he received tuition from Daniel Moult at the Royal College of Music Junior Department. He has been Organ Scholar at St Martin's Church, Dorking and All Saints Margaret Street, and was also Assistant Organist at Little St Mary's, Cambridge from 2009-10.

Ben Comeau has just begun studying music at Girton having just finished his A levels in Cornwall. Starting piano aged four, he passed his ARCO diploma on organ aged 16, and has also recently gained an LRSM piano diploma with 87%. Ben won the inaugural Northern Ireland International Organ Competition last summer, with a programme including part of his own transcription of Stravinsky's Firebird. He is an experienced recitalist, having written two piano concertos, one of which he performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall. In his spare time he is also an avid jazz pianist.
